Basic Life Support and CPR Workshop

Learn introductory Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for the adults on Sept. 22, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at Pearl Studios at 500 8th Avenue, (between 35th and 36th) New York, NY 10018.

The class will be conducted by the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY).  The class is recommended for non-health care professionals and does not provide professional certification.
There is a limit of 20 people in the class as requested by the FDNY. Priority will be given to current Philippine-New York Jaycees members.  There will be no charge to attend the event for current chapter members.  Spots will be available to guests at $10 each as space allows.
The most important person in the link of the chain of survival is the first responder -- the first person to witness and/or be present during an emergency.  The very life you may save may be of your loved one's. Know what to do. Know what not to do. Save someone safely.
