Jaycees and Friends,
The Houston International Jaycees were here for us last year when NYC was hit very badly with COVID-19 and there was a lack of face masks in hospitals. They sent 500 KN95 masks to our healthcare workers here in New York which were distributed by our chapter and JCI New Jersey. It’s time to give back! We’re raising funds to support Houston International Jaycees to provide relief to the greater Houston area affected by Winter Storm. It’s been said that the storm “may be the costliest winter weather event in the state’s history.” A lot have suffered income loss and property damage both in and out of their homes, and flooding and other water damage caused by frozen and broken pipes. A little help from each of us will have a great impact to their recovery. We have a goal to reach $300 by March 13, which we’ve already sent them last night in advance. They needed the help weeks ago. Any money raised over $300 by March 13, 2021 will be forwarded to them as well. Help us support each other. You can donate via PayPal or Venmo: @philnyjaycees. “… and that service to humanity is the best work of life.” – JCI Creed
